How do I create a new user (Person)?
New users in Arnie require a profile to be created and permissions assigned. Creating a person requires entering the relevant contact information and selecting which roles and restrictions are relevant to their access.
- Click People
- From the drop-down select Create person
- Complete the fields to add user details including:
- User ID
- Name
- Contact Details
- Zone
- Default Skin
- Check the boxes of the roles required for this person
- Click Submit
- The user will receive an email with an activation link for their profile
NOTE
Certain combinations of roles and permissions are invalid.
Fields with a red asterisk are mandatory
How do I edit an existing user (Person)?
- Click People from the side menu
- From the dropdown select Search People
- Locate the relevant user from the list and click on their Person No to the left
- Update a person's profile details, and roles and add notes as required
- Click Submit
NOTE
Changes to a person's profile are recorded in a history log which may be viewed by clicking View History on the Edit Person screen.
How are Workgroups assigned?
Access to jobs, quotes, invoices and worklists is determined by the workgroup a person is assigned to and is defined by location. A person can only be assigned to one workgroup at one time but they are not required to be located in the location of the workgroup.
- Click People from the side menu
- From the dropdown select Search People
- Locate the relevant user from the list and click on their Person No to the left
- From the edit person screen, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Manage Person
- Select Manage Workgroups from the list of options
- At the top of the workgroups screen, select the Insurer brand and Zone from the drop-downs
- Once finalised, click Add Workgroup
To delete a Workgroup:
- Select Manage Workgroups from the list of options
- In the Workgroups screen, locate the current workgroup in the table
- Click on the Delete link to the right of the workgroup
How can I assign a Zone?
Zones help to group multiple locations into one 'Zone' for workgroup assignment.
- Click Locations from the side menu
- From the dropdown select Assign Zone
- Scroll to the bottom of the list, enter the Zone Name and select Location from the drop-down
- Once finalised, click Add Zone
You can also browse existing Locations and create new ones from the Locations menu.
