How do automatic allocations of jobs work?
Jobs can be automatically allocated in the system by defining which jobs should be assigned to an assessor by either the repairer who has been allocated or the location. Some of the rules which can be defined for allocation include:
- The Assessor's role or delegated authority limits
- The Assessor's starting location (ie. on-site office days or starting from home address)
- The Assessor's conflicts of interest
- The Assessor's currently assigned jobs at a repairer
- The distance from the last job to the next job (per assessor)
- The assessment type (onsite or digital)
- The extent of vehicle damage ie. driveable, non-driveable, rapid or non-rapid repairer
- The type of job and associated weighting ie. digital, onsite, quote review, follow-up or reassessment
- Assessor capacity
- Upcoming (planned) leave
- Estimated repair value (if available)
How do I manage jobs after they have been automatically assigned to an assessor?
A new Reassign Assessor screen has been designed to allow users to simply view all Assessors' worklists on a Google Map route. This helps visualise the jobs allocated and enables a team leader or administrator to simply drag and drop the job to another assessor for more appropriate or even distribution of jobs.
NOTE:
This is an administrator or team leader function and must be enabled on the Arnie user profile. An assessor or other user (non-administrative rights) will only see their assigned jobs in their worklist.
Overflow and outsourcing of assessments
If you have an agreement in place with a third-party assessment company and wish to assign jobs based on certain criteria (overflow, catastrophic event, damage type, damage value etc.), these rules may also be incorporated in the automatic allocations of jobs.
The external assessor must be set up in Arnie as a user with the appropriate role and permissions or integrated with Arnie to receive their assigned jobs.
