Can I add a quote on behalf of a repairer?
Assessors can manually enter a quote on behalf of a repairer when provided a copy either by attaching it Job in Arnie or via email.
Can be completed by users with the role(s): Assessor
- Navigate to relevant job's View Job screen
- Click Manage Job button at the bottom of the screen
- Select Manual Quote from the listed options
- Enter the Quote No and amounts (exclusive of GST) for each item type
- Click Submit
NOTE
Items details cannot be entered during quote creation, to add further details edit the quote after submitting.
OR
An Assessor can use OCR Quote to read the PDF to enter the quote items
- Navigate to relevant job's View Job screen
- Click Manage Job button at the bottom of the screen
- Select OCR Quote from the listed options
- Enter the Document No of the PDF quote
- Click Process
- Review the document preview on the left and the OCR results on the right
- Drag-drop any incorrectly categorised items or make any adjustments as necessary
- Click Save
How do I authorise a quote?
Rapid authorisations happen with no-touch in Arnie based on specified repairers and nominated $ thresholds. These automated authorisations now happen for sublet quotes, whether the repairer is the same as the primary or another supplier within the nominated $ threshold.
Can be completed by users with the role(s): Assessor, Admin, Motor Claims
If your quotes are above the nominated threshold, you will need to manually authorise the quote:
- Navigate to the relevant job's View Job screen
- Scroll down to the Quote section and view the relevant quote/s
- When satisfied, click Authorise link to the right of the relevant invoice
- An automatic notification email repair authority will be sent to the repairer.
OR
- Click the Manage Job button at the bottom of the screen
- Select Authorise quote from the listed options
Can I adjust a quote?
Items on a quote can be edited, added, deleted, and compared to previous quotes.
Can be completed by users with the role(s): Superadmin, Cost Control
- Navigate to the relevant job's View Job screen
- Scroll down to the Quote section and click Edit next to the relevant quote
- Review information, enter line item adjustments and add any comments

Review itemised quote in the Edit Invoice screen, additional options will appear bottom of the screen
- Show files associated with this job
- Add new item
- Save changes
- Delete marked item
- View quote changes
- Back to view job

Update information including, description, rate and hours as required or click Edit next to the item to update code or net amount

Click Save changes to update

Repairers will receive an email notification if any adjustments to the initial quote are made or the repair authority is cancelled.
NOTE
The checked column can be used to track which line items have been reviewed.
Parts that do not match the vehicle details or are above the list price will be highlighted
How do I issue a Repair Authority?
Once the assigned Assessor authorises a quote it will trigger the Repair Authority to become available within Arnie and issue a copy via email to the repairer. To issue again:
- Click the Manage Job button at the bottom of the screen
- Select Issue Repair Authority from the listed options
