Following an assessment, an assessor will complete the following key details on an Arnie job: 

1. Vehicle Details
2. Damage Classification
3. Assessment Summary 
   1. Repair Authority (Job Authorisation)
   2. Total Loss (Y/N)
4. Claim Assessment Details > Assessment Type
   1. Acceptance > Without Prejudice/OK to Proceed
   2. Status

New trigger options and field inputs available: 

• Pending withdrawal (Acceptance)
• Pending denial (Acceptance)

Pending denial

Business process requires a Senior Assessor to verify a possible denial. Before a denial is confirmed, the assessment details must be completed and escalated to a Senior Assessor for review and next steps. 

Automation:

1. Trigger the JOB_UPDATE API to the policy system 
2. Automatically reassign the job to the next available Senior Assessor with the authority to review

Denial

Where a Senior Assessor has confirmed a denial is appropriate, the claim is updated to trigger necessary communications and updates.

Once a denial is recommended to a Senior Assessor following the initial assessment, the Acceptance, Job Status and WOP Reason has been updated. 

Automation:

1. When the Job Status and Job Authorisation has been updated with a reason, the correct email is triggered for claim denial 
2. Trigger the JOB_UPDATE API to the policy system with updated Denial and reason 

Withdrawal

A claim may be withdrawn by a claimant at any stage of the claim. An insurer may also submit contact to the claimant to reconsider their decision to proceed with a claim as the repairs quoted less than the excess(es) payable. 

In this case, a claim Acceptance would be a Pending Withdrawal (until withdrawn by the claimant). 

Automation:

1. Trigger the JOB_UPDATE API to the policy system
2. Trigger WOP Email and populate with the reason for Withdrawal from Acceptance Reason

Other Acceptance

1. Accepted
2. Partial acceptance
3. Withdrawn

Automation:

1. Trigger the JOB_UPDATE API to the policy system
2. Trigger WOP Email and populate with the reason when available (ie. Repairs < Excess)
