Audience: Client administrative user
To enable the use of the MFA indicator:
- Go to main menu and select People
- Select Search People for the user
- Select Edit Person
- View the MFA indicator then tick the check box to activate MFA
Important notes
- If you select the MFA login option, the SSO login is no longer actionable. Therefore, it is either MFA or SSO for a particular user.
- Under MFA the user will need a relationship of one person to one email address to function.
- After the user logs in and the MFA login function is selected, the user is presented with a verification page after login.
- The user enters the code received by email via the nominated email address.
- Arnie Motor Claims Team can assist with a bulk data update enabling the MFA flag on all the Repairers or you may provide a list of specific repairer IDs to activate to the Arnie developer team
- There are now three options: SSO, MFA or normal password login for all users
- The GO live means you can now elect to update the MFA when it suits you
- MFA is an emailed verification code only and not by phone
- There are two options for MFA once activated:
- For every single login.
- Verification only emailed once a day and remembered.
- When you initially test in the SIT environment the verification is on every log in so you can test multiple times quickly. However, on your instruction, we can set the verification to once a day for you to retest.
- We’ve listed active non SSO users and non-repairer parties to be contacted for MFA use on the attached list.
Example instructions for logging in using multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Audience: General MFA user
